Joe Stuart is a native Mobilian, currently in his 39th year as a licensed real estate professional, and works both in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. During his career he has been involved in all areas of the real estate industry, including residential and commercial sales, commercial leasing and management, subdivision development, residential construction and has owned and operated his own company.
Joe is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Business Administration, and the University of South Alabama, with a M.S. in Counseling. In addition to his real estate career, Joe has worked as a substance abuse counselor and prevention specialist. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Shoulder as a drug/alcohol treatment facility, serving counties in South Alabama. Joe also serves in a volunteer capacity at the E.A- Roberts Alzheimer’s Center. He is a past president of the Mobile County Auburn Alumni Association and has served in volunteer capacities with Alabama Cooperative Extension Services, Boy Scouts of America, American Red Cross, Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, and others.
Joe and his wife, Averell, have been married for 40 years and have two sons. He is an active member of his church where he sings in the choir and has served as a Stephen minister. Joe enjoys fishing and an occasional round of golf, but his real loves are deer hunting, singing, playing guitar and spending time with his granddaughters, Maggie and Sadie.
